The Scrumptious Sports Sandwich

Delicious. Invariably, food is to sport as ying is to yang. A trip to the ballpark is not complete without a hot dog or peanuts. A football experience is not complete without some tailgating grills. Without it, it’s is like Rollie Fingers without waxed facial hair, Bono without glasses, Manny missing dreads, Jack Lambert with a full set of teeth, a civil OJ Simpson, or the Braves without Bobby Cox at the helm. Imagine the blasphemy of a restaurant without sandwiches, a sandwich without bread, or a sandwich without lettuce. What I’m saying is that sports are as acquainted with food as Slammin’ Sammy was to the syringe and David Carr was to defensive linemen. I’m getting carried away, but you should have gotten the point by now.

So, while you aren’t savoring your team’s latest victory or reminiscing about better days, come on over to Sports Sandwich, the definitive locale for a mouth-watering blast of straight-to-the-point sporting news.
